Nuclear weapons threat

These projects focus on the worldwide threat that still exists from nuclear weapons. Our research especially highlights the considerable dangers due to governments that refuse to disarm, such as the UK. Included here is some of the work carried out in the 1980s by one of SGR's predecessor organisations, Scientists Against Nuclear Arms (SANA).

SGR's research highlights the catastrophic risks posed by nuclear weapons, including the UK's. Our work has been used by ICAN, recipient of the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize.
